Quiénes Somos?
Una experiencia de amor vivo de Dios
Effetá es un retiro católico de jóvenes para jóvenes que tiene como finalidad vivir un encuentro personal con Dios. Es un retiro testimonial y experiencial, organizado por jóvenes que han conocido a Dios y quieren llevarlo a otros para que ellos también descubran el Amor Verdadero y tengan un primer encuentro con Cristo, que es «el camino, la verdad y la vida» (Jn 14, 6).
Dónde nació Effetá?
Effetá nació en Colombia y llegó a España en 2013. Desde entonces, ha ido extendiéndose por diferentes ciudades y ayudando a muchas personas en su camino de fe.
Qué significa Effetá?
El nombre, Effetá, es una palabra en arameo que significa “ábrete” y se cita en el evangelio de San Marcos 7, 31-37, se refiere a abrir el corazón a la Gracia de Dios, a seguir su camino y los retiros giran alrededor de esta Palabra.

¿Qué es Effetá?
Effetá es un retiro católico de jóvenes para jóvenes que tiene como finalidad vivir un encuentro personal con Dios. Es un retiro testimonial y experiencial, organizado por jóvenes que han conocido a Dios y quieren llevarlo a otros para que ellos también descubran el Amor Verdadero y tengan un primer encuentro con Cristo, que es «el camino, la verdad y la vida» (Jn 14, 6).
¿Para quién es Effetá?
Está dirigido a jóvenes de entre 18 y 25 años, sea cual sea su religión, ideología, grupo social o situación personal.
¿Cuánto duran los retiros?
En total, un fin de semana. El retiro empieza el viernes por la tarde y termina el domingo por la tarde.
¿Y después del retiro?
Cada grupo de Effetá se junta una vez a la semana para acompañarse y crecer en comunidad.
En Effetá Pereira nos encontramos todos los Miércoles a las 6:45 PM.
¿En qué es diferente Effetá de otros retiros espirituales?
Effetá es un retiro que tiene su propia estructura y actividades, como la tienen los Ignacianos y muchos otros, que es testimonial y de reflexión personal.
¿Por qué tanto misterio con lo que se hace en el retiro?
La estructura y actividades se mantienen en secreto porque, en cada retiro, queremos dar a los nuevos caminantes la oportunidad de desconectar y retirarse totalmente del ajetreo, vivir cada momento sin estar pendientes de lo que viene después, transmitirles la importancia de confiar y crear un clima para que se dejen sorprender. Aquí no hay peligro, los cuidamos súper bien, y estamos a total disposición de ustedes para lo que necesiten durante todo el fin de semana. Nosotros pensamos que Effetá es como un regalo, y revelar la sorpresa antes de abrirla le quita ese algo “especial”, así que optamos por no hacerlo.
